One of the questions we get is, "which district do I live in?" Here is how you can find out. The county has provided maps of each high school district in .pdf format. To find out which high school district you are in, select one of these maps:
Cherokee District When that file open in Adobe Reader, do a search on your street name by clicking on the search button in adobe reader. It looks like this:
A box will open on the right hand side of the document, and you type in your street name - no house number - as the word or phrase to search for and click on the search button. If no results come up, then enter the nearest main road to your address.
The results of your search will show up in the box below the search button. Select the street you live on. This will center your street on the window. You then click on the "+" button in the zoom box to zoom in and make sure that have the right address. Your street name will be highlighted on the map. If your street is in the white area, you are in the high school district that you selected below. Otherwise - you can zoom out to see which High School District your address is in. This is the district you enter on the registration form.
